COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery congratulates the 2017 USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coaches of the Year. These coaches demonstrated exceptional contributions to their archers and the Collegiate Archery Program as a whole. In the past year these coaches have shown tireless dedication to the sport, their archers have seen success in the classroom and on the archery field, and USA Archery thanks these coaches for their continued efforts.
The 2017 Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coach of the Year honors are awarded as follows:
USA Archery CEO Denise Parker commented: "On behalf of USA Archery, we extend our sincerest gratitude and congratulations to these coaches. The Collegiate Archery Program has seen tremendous growth this year and we greatly appreciate the efforts of our hardworking and dedicated coaches who make this program possible and help our archers succeed on the field and in the classroom."
Collegiate Archery Program clubs and teams submitted nominations for candidates to USA Archery, and each group had the opportunity to vote for one Regional Coach of the Year for their respective region.
In addition to regional recognition, each of these three coaches is now in the running for the USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program National Coach of the Year award. USA Archery will send instructions on how to vote for the National Coach of the Year directly to each Collegiate Archery Program club and team.
Votes will be due to USA Archery by May 10th, and the Collegiate Archery Program National Coach of the Year will be announced at the U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships (NOCC) being held at May 18-21st in Chula Vista, CA.
