COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery is pleased to introduce the athlete roster for the 2020 Regional Elite Development (RED) Program. The mission of the RED Program is to develop compound and recurve athletes, through the USA Archery athlete competencies and High-Performance Ethos, who are competitive nationally and internationally. The RED Program was expanded to include compound in 2020 and regional and national camps will now be composed of both recurve and compound athletes and coaches.
The RED Program is designed for athletes ages 13-17 who are looking to accelerate their performance with intent on making a national or international team. The coaching staff will utilize age appropriate training plans to further develop the athlete’s but also look to develop the athlete’s personal coaches for long-term success. Through RED, athletes will also develop teamwork, interpersonal, mental, communication and leadership skills.
