COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2024 USA Archery Indoor Nationals Final will now include men and women divisions in the barebow category, with equal prize money for both, and all thanks to the continued generosity of Lancaster Archery Supply.
This means there will be 48 archers competing in Louisville, Ky. on March 14, as the leading eight men and eight women from barebow, compound and recurve come together inside the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Lancaster Archery Supply’s support of barebow takes the total prize purse for the event to more than $70,000, with payouts to all places.
“Rob and Carole Kaufhold at Lancaster Archery Supply have long-since been incredible supporters of the sport and of USA Archery,” said USA Archery CEO Rod Menzer. “This is another sign of that passion and that support, and we are extremely grateful, as I know are the barebow community.”
The top archers from 14 regional events of the 55th USA Archery Indoor Nationals will compete in head-to-head elimination matches. Last year’s winners included Jack Williams (recurve men), Casey Kaufhold (recurve women), Isaac Sullivan (compound men), Paige Pearce (compound women) and Robby Weissinger (barebow non-gender division).
Sullivan was appearing at the Indoor Nationals Final for the first time, whereas Kaufhold claimed the title for the fourth year in a row. For Pearce, her 2023 success means she has won four of the previous five editions.
