COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery is thrilled to announce that Rod Menzer will be stepping into the role of Director of Marketing for USA Archery. Menzer hails from a strong archery background and passion for promoting our athletes and has served as Chairman for the USA Archery Board of Directors, a member of the Athletes Advisory Council, and boasts several world titles and records, including 2008 World Archery Field Champion.
In addition to a strong background in archery, Menzer is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has worked in sales and business development in the food industry for more than two decades. Most recently, Menzer was the Vice President, Corporate and National Accounts for Trilliant Food, Beverage and Nutrition and before that, the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cuisine Innovations.
"I have a great passion for the sport and USA Archery," shared Menzer on accepting his new position. "I look forward to assisting the team at USA Archery to drive additional focus on improved fundraising, events and promotions along with other duties. I will do everything I can to help us succeed and reach the goals set forth in our strategic plan."
As Marketing Director, Menzer will be responsible for marketing and promoting USA Archery, its athletes, events and programs, not only within the archery community but especially focusing on how to raise the level of our sport on a national and international level.
USA Archery CEO Denise Parker welcomed Menzer into the role: "Rod has been an incredible asset in helping to shape the goals and strategic direction of the organization while serving as Chairman of USA Archery's Board of Directors. His innate understanding of our sport, events and athletes combined with his business experience and competitive background makes him an incredible asset to the organization and sport. He has the skills, experience and drive to help us achieve the goals set out for the organization and we are excited to have him join our daily operations as Director of Marketing."
