There's still time to register for the Easton Foundations Gator Cup, scheduled for October 29-31, at the Easton-Newberry Sports Complex in Newberry, FL. The Gator Cup is the final Jr./Sr. USAT Qualifying Event for 2010, and will award a total of $20,000 in prize money (cadets not eligible for prize money). Tournament organizers have extended the early registration deadline to October 22; any registrations received after that date will be subject to a late fee. Registration closes completely on October 27 at 12:00 a.m.; competitors must register online, as registrations will not be accepted at the field.
The event will kick off with official practice and equipment inspection on Friday, October 29. On Saturday, October 30, competitors will begin the day with official practice, followed by a single 70-meter, 72-arrow qualification round. The event schedule has been revised, and all classes will begin shooting at the same time on Saturday morning. A team round and barbecue dinner are scheduled for Saturday evening. On Sunday, Olympic Rounds will be conducted using the FITA set system, with awards presented immediately afterward.
