COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery appreciates and highly values the effort and commitment of the coaches who dedicate themselves to helping archers grow and achieve their goals. Each year USA Archery recognizes their efforts by inviting members to nominate outstanding coaches in each of the following Coach of the Year Award categories:
Awards are based on accomplishments from October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. Nominees should demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in archery in the past year. Examples of such accomplishments may include, but are not limited to:
To be eligible for nomination, coaches must have:
Coach of the Year nominations may only be made by current USA Archery members and must be submitted by October 20, 2024. Club members are asked to coordinate and consolidate nominations to one nomination per coach.
Once nominations have been received, USA Archery staff, Coach Advisory Council, Chairs from the JOAD, Collegiate, Athlete, and Para Athlete Advisory Councils will select the winner in each category. All individuals with a conflict of interest will be abstain from voting.
