COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery is now seeking nominations for positions on the Collegiate Archery Program and the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Advisory Councils.
Council members play a vital role in USA Archery’s organization and are responsible for making recommendations regarding program and event administration to USA Archery staff. This is your chance to have a voice on matters that you care about and to represent the opinions of the archery community in your region.
The North and West Representative seats are open for nomination on the JOAD Advisory Council. In addition, the JOAD Advisory Council is expanding and will now have two Athlete Representatives: one for the North/West and one for the South/East. Both Athlete Representative positions will be open for 2022. The South/East Athlete Representative will serve one year and then this seat will open again in 2023 to match the nomination schedule with the South and East Region Representatives. The North/West Athlete Representative will serve a full two-year term.

Once nominations are received, USA Archery will distribute nominee information to USA Archery clubs for vote in their respective regions. All nominations are due November 15, 2021.
