COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Archery is introducing the Club Excellence Award Program. This new award program is designed to highlight the amazing work members and coaches of USA Archery Clubs are doing for their communities.
USA Archery Chief of Sport Performance Mary Emmons commented: “USA Archery is excited to add this opportunity to celebrate the outstanding efforts our clubs are doing in their communities and for their archers on the competition field.
"From growing the sport with safe and fun introductory offerings, hosting practices, events and workshops, fostering coaches, and building talented athletes who excel in local, state, national and international events, clubs are the backbone of our organization and we look forward to recognizing those who are setting the greatest examples of club excellence at all levels.”
The Club Excellence Award Program will recognize the outstanding work of our club programs across the country in the following categories:
Club leaders may apply for one or more categories in which they feel their club and members are excelling. USA Archery Youth, Adult, both Youth and Adult Clubs and Collegiate Programs in good membership standing may submit a nomination for these awards.
Nomination forms should be completed electronically and submitted to [email protected] no later than October 1, 2022. Forms received after the deadline will not be considered.
USA Archery will review nomination forms to determine a winner from each category. The Club of the Year award recipient will be selected by USA Archery based on nominations. Clubs wishing to be considered for the Club of the Year should demonstrate excellence in multiple categories.
