COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Thanks to generous contributions from Easton Foundations, USA Archery is offering a start-up grant for new Collegiate Archery Programs.
USA Archery’s Collegiate Archery Program is for students enrolled in a college or university. Collegiate Archery Programs can be varsity teams with scholarships, club sports or student organizations on campus.
Archery provides students a community with friendships that last a lifetime. This community helps with the stresses and pressures of rigorous academic pursuits, giving college students the perfect outlet to continue participating in this lifetime sport.
From athlete and coach development programs, to regional and national events, and international competition, USA Archery offers opportunities for archers to pursue their dreams and accomplish their archery goals.
The Collegiate Archery Program is an integral piece of USA Archery’s athlete development pipeline, allowing athletes to continue to train at high levels while pursuing their degree. Collegiate archers can participate at local, state, regional, national, and international collegiate archery events, and are eligible to compete to earn spots on the Olympic and Paralympic teams.
