COLORADO SPRINGS, Col. -- USA Archery is excited to announce two new grant opportunities for USA Archery Clubs.
USA Archery Club 3D Target Grant
Thanks to generous contributions from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund, USA Archery clubs in good standing are invited to apply for the USA Archery Club 3D Equipment Grant. Successful grant recipients will receive a pre-set mix of ten 3D targets.
USA Archery offers a wide variety of archery programs that provide a road map for young athletes to participate and grow with long-term athlete development in mind. Currently, USA Archery offers numerous grassroots target archery programs including Explore Archery, Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Achievement, as well as local and state championship events. In the later part of 2021, USA Archery announced the expansion of the Fixed Pins division for Youth classes.
This grant is another exciting opportunity for USA Archery clubs to expand program offerings to include 3D Archery. USA Archery is currently working with a select group of states to offer 3D State Championships in the Fall of 2022, and, in partnership with the Archery Shooters Association, will host the USA Archery 3D Nationals event in the Fall of 2023.
If your club is interested in hosting a 3D state championship, please contact Event Development Manager Brad Fiala at [email protected]. Please view the USA Archery Event Calendar to find a tournament near you.
USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development Target Grant
Additionally, through contributions from the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund and the National Archery Association Foundation, USA Archery Clubs that serve youth, are actively implementing the JOAD Achievement Program, and attending USA Archery JOAD events can submit an application to receive four target mats and four target stands. Priority for the JOAD Grant will be given to youth clubs.
Applications for both grant opportunities can be found here and are due September 30, 2022. Eligible clubs may apply for both grants. Please Contact USA Archery at [email protected] for more information.
