COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery is thrilled that with the support of Local Organizing Committees, we are able to introduce prize purses for Masters divisions at two upcoming United States Archery Team Qualifier Series Events this year, the Arizona Cup and the Buckeye Classic.
“The Masters are a passionate group of archers,” commented USA Archery CEO Rod Menzer. “They are longtime supporters of USA Archery and we and the event organizers recognize they are coming back year after year and attending so many events each season. We appreciate their dedication and all they contribute to the archery community.”
With Olympians, World Champions, lifelong archers along with some newer archers that have more recently picked up the sport competing at an increasingly impressive and competitive level, USA Archery and the Arizona Cup and Buckeye Classic organizing committees are proud to celebrate their support with new prize purses.
For the 2020 season, the payout for each of these events will be distributed to the top three archers in the Compound Master Women, Compound Master Men, Recurve Master Women and Recurve Master Men’s divisions as follows:
1st - $600
2nd- $400
3rd - $250
We thank the Masters archers for their continued support of USA Archery’s National Events and wish them all the best on the field this season. Registration is now open for the Arizona Cup (April 3-5, Phoenix, AZ) and will open soon for the Buckeye Classic (August 28-30, Dublin, OH).
