Colorado Spring, CO - USA Archery is excited to announce the Veteran Athlete Equipment Grant Program for USA Archery members who are also disabled veterans.
Eligible applicants should aspire to get involved in and develop in the sport of target archery to advance onto next-step programs including making the Para United States Archery Team.
Athletes may apply for a maximum of $1,000 to be used for the purchase of archery equipment (targets, target stands, and target faces excluded). Grant awards will be prioritized based on each applicants demonstrated need and overall athlete development and event participation goals.
"We're excited for the chance to support veterans with disabilities to get involved in and develop within the sport," said USA Archery’s Chief of Sport Performance and Operations, Mary Emmons. "Archery really is a sport for everyone and equipment grants can help to reduce economic barriers to participation for individuals looking to advance to next step programs and events."
