This email was just sent out to all U.S. Open participants:
Dear Archers,
Because of severe weather conditions on the field, for the safety of the archers we need to reduce the number of people who access the venue. We have had to make a very difficult decision and we need to revise the cut to the top 8 archers in each division for the 50 meter field: Compound Senior Women, Compound Master Women, Barebow Senior Men and Barebow Master Men. If you are not in the top 8 from the Target Nationals, unfortunately, you will not be shooting in the U.S. Open.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and short notice and hope to see you all on the field again soon. We were so thankful the weather held out so we could shoot all qualification rounds, but sadly, the weather did not cooperate today and the fields are saturated to a dangerous level. We thank you all for coming to this event; it was so great to all be together for archery! See you at Buckeye in two weeks.

NOTE: The 70m field is holding up okay; Recurve Senior Men and Recurve Master Men will keep the cut to the top 64 archers per division.
