USA Archery announced Tuesday that the Stabilizer Company, the makers of the popular B-Stinger Stabilizers, has signed on as a new sponsor of USA Archery through 2012. The California-based company will support all USA Archery team members, including the Senior, Paralympic and Junior United States Archery Teams, the Junior Dream Team and the resident athlete archers training at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center.
B-Stinger will be an event sponsor for all 2010 U.S. Archery Team qualifying events, starting with the Arizona Cup in April. The Stabilizer Company will receive significant onsite exposure at these events and will be putting on a comprehensive seminar during the Arizona Cup outlining how to setup and effectively use the product.
"We are excited in being able to offer this sponsorship and product line to the USA Archery teams," said Denise Parker, USA Archery CEO. "The B-Stinger product is top notch and they are very committed to whatever necessary to increase the performance of our national teams. This is definitely a win-win situation."
Last fall, the Stabilizer Company set up testing opportunities for the top USA Archery athletes to receive feedback on the new B-Stinger product line. This testing included the Resident Athlete Team, which enabled the coaching staff to track overall performance with and without the stabilizer bars. The results proved successful and resulted in many of the Resident Athlete's committing to using the product.
"I can see that the archers are much more stable when they use the B-Stinger Stabilizers," said Kisik Lee, USA Archery National Coach. "This is a biomechanical advantage for us to use."
