COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - Thanks to generous contributions from lifelong youth archery supporters Ann Hoyt and Jim Easton via the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund and the Easton Sports Development Foundation, USA Archery is proud to once again offer the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Grant program.
Twice a year, JOAD clubs in good standing can apply for grant dollars for items such as targets, coach certifications and general supplies and equipment to promote long term club sustainability and help more young archers get started and grow in the sport. Complete information and application instructions can be found here.
The first deadline for 2018 JOAD Grant applications is April 15th and the second will be August 19th. Clubs may apply at any time during the year, and applications received after the first deadline will be considered in the second cycle.
In 2017, USA Archery distributed grant dollars to 25 clubs last year and we are excited to be able to continue to offer this opportunity. Club leaders should review the Grant Rules and Instructions carefully and submit complete, well-thought out applications. Any questions may be directed to [email protected].
