COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - Registration is open for the 2016 U.S. National Field Championships and U.S. Team Trials for World Field Championships. This event will be held in Yankton, South Dakota this June 30-July 3, 2016.
The event will feature Official Practice on Thursday, an unmarked round on Friday, a marked round on Saturday, and the U.S. World Team Trials on Sunday for the top 8 registered archers in each category.
This event is a mandatory qualifying event for the 2017 Barebow USAT and scores will count towards the very prestigious Easton and Shenk awards. It is also the U.S. Team Trials for the 2016 World Archery Field Championships, which will take place September 27-October 2, 2016 in Dublin, Ireland.
The top 3 male and female finishers in the Recurve, Compound and Barebow divisions for Senior and Junior age classes have an opportunity to travel to Ireland and represent USA Archery. The event will be self-funded.
The deadline to register for the U.S. National Field Championships is June 17, 2016. Early registration is open through June 8, 2016 and late registration will be in force June 9-16, 2016. Click here for more information and to register.
