All archers who have registered for, or plan to register for, the 2011 Gold Cup and World Archery Championships Trials Event #2, are asked to take note of the following important information.
On page 2 of the 2011 Gold Cup Registration Packet, under "Event Information," the following statement is INCORRECT:
"Top 8 Archers (US Only) in each of the 4 divisions will advance to World Archery Championships Team Trials #2."

Per the 2012 World Archery Championships Selection Procedures, the team selection procedures are:
The Top 8 Archers from the World Archery Championships Trials Event #1 (scheduled for April 23-24 in conjunction with the Easton Foundations Gator Cup) will receive Ranking Round Placement Points for their participation in the Qualification Round at the Gator Cup, per the Selection Procedures.
During World Archery Championships Trials Event #2 (May 14-15), the 8 archers who participate in the WAC Trials Event #1 will be ranked against each other and receive Ranking Round Placement Points for their participation in the Qualification Round at the Gold Cup, per the Selection Procedures.
Therefore, all athletes who participate in the WAC Trials Event #1 are required to compete in the Gold Cup and the WAC Trials Event #2, in order to compete for a place on the 2011 World Archery Championship Team. However, all competitors and interested parties should note that the same eight archers competing in theWAC Trials Event #1 will be the same archers competing in the WAC Trials Event #2.
