Newberry, FL - The Easton Foundations Gator Cup, a USAT Qualifier Series Event, is scheduled to take place April 19-21 at the Easton Newberry Sports Complex in Newberry, FL. In addition to awards and U.S. Archery Team ranking, competitors in the recurve and compound senior divisions will also be shooting for prize money.
Many of the country's top recurve and compound archers in the senior, junior and cadet divisions are expected to participate; the event boasted attendance of nearly 200 in 2011. Last year's competitors included World Champion Reo Wilde, World Cup gold medalist Erika Anschutz, World Cup Final winner Rodger Willet, Jr., number one world ranked archer Brady Ellison, and four time Olympian Khatuna Lorig.
The Gator Cup, like all USAT Qualifier Series events, also allows archers of all skill levels the opportunity to gain valuable experience in high level competition.
