Judges' seminars have been announced for the East and South Regions. Both seminars are free of charge, and are not a requirement for becoming a judge. This opportunity is geared toward those who think they may be interested in becoming a tournament official, and will explain what it is like to be a judge, as well as covering the mechanics of judging, a rules overview and rules interpretations.
The East Region seminar features Verna Semple, Jim Ashton and Megan Tierney. Together, the three offer nearly 40 years of tournament judging experience between them, and will be sharing that experience with participants during this one day class.
Sponsored by the Connecticut Target Archers' Association, this seminar will be held at Cabela's in East Hartford, CT. Click here for complete information on the East Region seminar.
Additionally, a seminar has been announced for the South Region, on June 25, featuring National Judge Jake Veit, Elite Coach Jim White, Para-Archer Lee Ford and Regional Judge Rodney Estrada. Together, the four offer nearly 100 years of tournament experience from the Judges, Coaches and Athlete's perspective between them, and will be sharing that experience with participants during this one day class.
Sponsored by the Franklin Count Archery/JOAD Club, this seminar will be held in Carnesville, Georgia at the Franklin County Recreation Department. Click here for complete information on the South Region seminar.
