CHULA VISTA, Calif. - The organizers of the 2013 Flexor SoCal Showdown, the fourth USAT Qualifier Series Event of 2013 and the qualifying event for the 2013 World Archery Youth Championships - U.S. Team Trials, have announced two important updates regarding the event.
First, Flexor, USA Archery sponsor and the first and only sport-specific motor learning provider, will be a title sponsor of the 2013 SoCal Showdown. As title sponsor, they will be hosting a free 1-hour seminar on Friday, June 21 from 5-6:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. This seminar will take place immediately following the end of official practice.
Second, athletes who intend to compete in the 2013 World Archery Youth Championships - U.S. Team Trials are encouraged to bring their passports with them to the Trials event in case they are successful in earning one of the spots on the team. Visas for China - the site of the World Archery Youth Championships - will need to be processed following the Trials event, and citizenship of the participants will also need to be verified.
