This Practical course is for students who have completed their USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Online Course within the USA Archery Education Hub at their own pace. Upon successful completion of the online course, students will then register for this in-person Practical Course. The Practical Course provides hands on experience with topics such as how to set-up an archery range, range safety, rules, procedures, commands, and the teaching the basics of the NTS Shooting Form. It is a required portion of the Level 1 Certification Course.
Once you pass the written and practical exams, you will be certified as a Level 1 Instructor. USA Archery will send your certifications to you via email.
The certification period is for 3 -years from the date of course completion. Benefits of upon passing this course includes: (i) USA Archery Mobile Coach, (ii) Qualified to be the lead Instructor for an Explore Archery Program and, (iii) Eligible for USA Archery insurance coverage.
The course fee will be $75. Payable by cash or check made out to "Robin Bonaventura"The Level 1 Instructor's Practical Course will be held at College Hill Recreation Center 5545 Belmont Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45224.from 3pm - 8:30pm. You are asked to please bring a notebook and pen.
