COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery opened the winter Virtual Tournament last month and the quarterly event runs through April 15. The Virtual Tournament is a great way to see how you stack up to other archers in your division nationwide, without leaving your home range.
As an added bonus this quarter, Olympic bronze and silver medalist Brady Ellison personally autographed his 2017 trading cards as a prize for the winner of each division! Brady shared that scoring in practice is essential to training and to progress in archery. He commented: "I think that you should warm up and then score every arrow you shoot. No matter if you're shooting good or bad. That way, when you score in a shoot, you are used to looking at your scores."
The Virtual Tournament helps you practice for the intensity of competitions and track your progress in a tournament setting. Find a club nearby or have your club leader create an event and join the series here!
