ANTALYA, Turkey - The third stage of the Archery World Cup continued this morning with the first two rounds of individual elimination matches, followed by team elimination matches through the semifinals.

The compound men's team of Braden Gellenthien, Bridger Deaton and Reo Wilde won all matches with wide margins to earn a spot in the gold final this weekend. Seeded 2nd, the team won 231-218 over Indonesia, 230-226 over India, and then 234-232 over Denmark and in a classic match-up, will face Italy for the gold.

The recurve men, also seeded 2nd, earned a spot in this weekend's bronze final. The 2016 U.S. Olympic Archery Team of Brady Ellison, Jake Kaminski and Zach Garrett had a smooth 5-1 win over Malaysia in the first round. Then Germany forced a second round shoot off, which the U.S. won 27-24. The sixth seed team from Mexico also put up strong scores against the U.S. squad, winning the semifinals 5-3 to face Korea for the gold. USA will take on Brazil for the bronze.
