A pair of informative presentations will be held at the National Field Archery Association's World Archery Festival on Feb. 19 and 20. The clinics will be tailored to better inform all archers of the 2010 FITA rules adopted by USA Archery; USAT changes; USA Archery championship event rules and policies; and JOAD program. The sessions will be held at the Riviera Capri Room #113.
The presentations will be held in the convention center area of the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Please visit the USA Archery booth for room location and information. The free presentations are intended to inform archers about the various changes for 2010. Also, a question and answer slot is incorporated into each presentation.
"It is necessary to have an open forum for the archery community to better understand the various changes that have occurred over the past several months," said Denise Parker, USA Archery CEO. "These forums are intended to answer all archers and coaches questions."
The FITA Rules and USA Archery Events and Policies presentation will cover the hot topics of the new FITA set system, match scoring and the new hit/miss target for compound archers. Also, the 2011 USAT program will be reviewed providing attendees the necessary information on how to qualify.
"These changes to our sport are necessary to make archery more acceptable nationally and internationally to a broader audience," said Parker. "USA Archery adopted these rule changes and we are providing these forums to better assist you in transitioning. We encourage your feedback and participation, which will ultimately provide a better understanding for all."
