COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery is pleased to share that we have seen continued growth in the quarterly Virtual Tournament. The USA Archery Q3 Virtual Tournament concluded on Friday, September 30th. To celebrate our Olympic and Paralympic Teams' great success this summer, in addition to certificates of recognition for first, second and third place archers, this quarter's first place finishers from all divisions will be honored with a commemorative USA Archery Rio Games pin.
Results from the Q3 Virtual Tournament can be found here.
Each quarter, as a part of the Virtual Tournament, USA Archery hosts a club spirit competition where clubs can win various prizes from USA Archery for their participation. For Q3 we asked to see your club's Team USA spirit as we cheered for our archers in Rio! Congratulations to the Q3 winner of the JOAD program banner signed by the 2016 USA Archery Olympic Team: Top Pin Archery of Custer, South Dakota.
Don't miss out on the final Virtual Tournament of 2016; the Q4 event will open on October 15th and run through the end of the year. This quarter, we are excited to announce that the top scorer in each division will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an Easton Quiver.
The Club Spirit competition theme for Q4 is Archery Gives Back. USA Archery clubs are encouraged to host a canned food drive throughout the holiday season and donate the items to their local food bank. The club who collects the largest number of canned goods through the holidays will get $100 towards the USA Archery online shop.
To enter the club spirit competition, submit photos and final canned good count to [email protected]. USA Archery clubs interested in hosting a participating event for the USA Archery Virtual Tournament should register their event and archer information at www.archeryevents.com, host a tournament style shoot at their home range and submit scores after completion.
For assistance in registering your participating event, please review the Virtual Tournament Setup Guide. For questions please contact Program Manager Lorin Fiehler at [email protected].
