USA Archery Hiring National Women's Head Coach

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery is working to capitalize on the great success we have seen internationally in recent years and to increase focus on our women's high performance programs by hiring a National Women's Head Coach.

We are thrilled that KiSik Lee, who has led our program since 2006, has signed an additional four-year contract with USA Archery to remain through 2020. He will be increasing his focus on the men's program.

In order to focus more energy and resources to our women's team, USA Archery is seeking a National Women's Head Coach to work out of the Easton Archery Center of Excellence in Chula Vista, California to lead training programs for the women's international and national teams, Resident Athletes and Junior Dream Teams to prepare elite athletes for competitive archery success at the international level.

The National Women's Head Coach will serve as the women's archery coach at domestic and international competitions and training events and will work with Coach Lee, the USA Archery staff and the Athlete Advisory Council members on development of the High Performance Plan and training programs.

Qualified applicants will have an extensive record of developing archers to elite level competition, excellent communication and collaboration skills and a proven ability to manage teams and athletes effectively.

"We are very excited about this opportunity to enhance our coaching staff," commented USA Archery CEO Denise Parker. "We have seen great progress with our teams on the international level and we believe this will provide an added focus to the women's program to ensure they are getting exactly what they need to succeed in 2020 and beyond."
