Outdoor Regional Events a Success for Collegiate Archery Program

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - From unique team jerseys to friendly competition, USA Archery's Collegiate Archery Program is all about the friends you make while shooting your bow.

Collegiate Archery Program clubs recently participated in four Outdoor Regional Events, designed to give teams a chance to compete against others in their region, and provide a warm-up for archers competing at the National Outdoor Collegiate Championships (NOCC) this week.

The following regions and clubs organized and hosted events. Click the name of each event to view results.

• South-East Collegiate Regional
  • Dates: March 27-29
  • Organizer: Franklin County Archery Club
  • Location: Emmanuel College, Franklin Springs, GA
• USA Archery Western Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championships
  • Dates: April 3-5
  • Organizer: University of California, Berkley
  • Location: Discovery Park, Sacramento, CA
• Jalapeno Cup South-Central Collegiate Regional Championships
  • Dates: April 24-26
  • Organizer: University of Texas, Austin-Archery Club
  • Location: University of Texas at Austin Outdoor Archery Range
• USA Archery Eastern Regional Collegiate Championship
  • Dates: April 25-26
  • Organizer: Columbia University-Archery
  • Location: Brookdale Park, Montclair, NJ

USA Archery extends congratulations to all of the archers who participated, and thanks the host clubs, staff, coaches and volunteers who made these events a success!
