COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery has issued a reminder for junior and senior athletes who may be eligible to compete in the upcoming senior World Archery Championships - U.S. Team Trials.
For this Team Trials event, scheduled for Monday, June 3, competitors are advised that juniors are eligible to compete for the World Archery Championships - U.S. Team and can register in the junior division for the Easton Foundations Gator Cup, which is the qualifying event for the U.S. Team Trials.
However, anyone shooting in the World Archery Championships - U.S. Team
Trials must verbally declare at check-in their intention to compete in the U.S.
Team Trials, in order to be eligible. Declarations must be made at check-in PRIOR to the
beginning of the Gator Cup qualification rounds. Juniors
declaring their intention to compete in the Team Trials event will be combined
and intermixed with the senior archers for the ranking round.
Again, ALL archers (juniors and seniors) who are competing at the Easton Foundations Gator Cup, who also wish to compete in the World Archery Championships - U.S. Team Trials, MUST verbally declare their intention to compete in the trials, when they check-in at the Gator Cup PRIOR to the beginning of the qualification rounds. A list will be posted with all archers competing in the selection event.
