USA Archery announces dates for 2011 Coach Symposium :
February 15-18, 2011; Colorado Springs, CO.
The 2011 Coach Symposium is designed to be a platform for open, informal discussion about the issues that coaches encounter in the field. Presentations will generally be short in nature with ample opportunity for questions and sharing of ideas.
Topics will include updates on the National Training System (NTS), FITA rules update, Coaching for training vs Coaching for competition, Applying the NTS to Compound archery, How USAA compares in World Competition, "Chunking", and others.
The Symposium is open to USAA certified Community, Regional, Elite and Level 3/4/Master Coaches.
Fees for the Symposium are $150.00. Fees cover the cost of housing and meals at the Olympic Training Center, plus airport pickup and drop off.
