Nick Winkelman, author of the newly released book, The Language of Coaching will share his expertise on how coaches can be more effective at helping athletes learn through cues. Nick is the head of athletic performance & science for the Irish Rugby Football Union and oversees the delivery and development of strength & conditioning and sports science across all national and provincial teams.
National Teams Sports Science Coordinator at U.S. Rowing, Cam Kiosoglous will explore the art and science of developing athletes as leaders. He will discuss how coaches can balance the ever-evolving roles of coaches and how to manage the complexity of the coach-athlete relationship. Cam will focus on specific strategies to integrate athlete leadership development into your coaching approach and will also explore ways to overcome the challenges that coaches face in supporting athletes to achieve optimal performance.
Bob Ryder and Brad Fiala will discuss strategies to lead and deliver quality archery events in your community. Coaches and club leaders will learn techniques used by an experienced tournament director to become a leader in your community, generate revenue for your club, and create an archery family by hosting great tournaments. Bob will also grant access to several resources he has created to effectively plan for a large-scale archery event.
