MONTERREY, Mexico – The Mexican Grand Prix World Ranking Event and Para World Ranking Event hosted archers from nine countries in individual, team and mixed team competition. The USA para squad dominated the open events and brought home lots of shiny hardware.

In the compound open men’s events, Andrew Pike qualified first ahead of 2^nd seed Richard Burkett and 4^th seed Keith Sekora, but in eliminations, the U.S. trio took the podium sweep. Pike finished with the gold, Burkett with silver and Sekora with bronze. They also crushed a team gold medal final with a 220-199 decision over Mexico.

Also competing in the able-bodied events, the team again took an impressive gold victory over Mexico’s World Championship team 224-220. Sekora climbed the individual brackets from a 13^th place qualification to finish 6^th overall.

In the compound open women’s events, Martha Chavez qualified 2^nd and finished with silver in the elimination matches. Teamed up with Pike, the duo finished 4^th in the able-bodied mixed team event, but smoked a 143-135 gold victory over Mexico in the para compound open mixed team final.

Jason Tabansky and Lia Coryell also had strong showings in the W1 events, qualifying 3^rd and 2^nd respectively, and taking home the silver and bronze in elimination matches.
