USA Archery is now seeking nominations for two Athlete Representatives, the East Region Representative, and the West Region Representative for the Officials and Rules Advisory Council.
Council members meet quarterly and as needed, primarily to discuss and make recommendations to USA Archery regarding judge membership, judge certification and judge education. Council members also help organize and run judge education opportunities including webinars, seminars and judge newsletters.
Eligibility Requirements:
Eligible judge representative candidates must be a Continental Judge or International Judge and maintain a current Level 3 National Judge Certification, current USA Archery membership, USA Archery background screening and U.S. Center SafeSport Training. Candidates must have judged in international events within the last two years and apply for the same region in which they maintain residency.
Eligible athlete representatives must maintain a current USA Archery Membership and U.S. Center for SafeSport Training.

As a USA Archery Officials and Rules Advisory Council Representative, you will be asked to:
The Council is advisory by nature and reports to USA Archery staff. All official actions require USA Archery CEO or BOD approval.
Terms:
Representative terms are two years and are staggered to provide for program continuity. Representatives agree to comply with the USA Archery Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics and sign a USA Archery Conflict of Interest form. Service is an unpaid volunteer position. In addition to meetings, council service is anticipated to average 5-10 hours per year.
Application Process:
All nominations are due by December 15, 2021. Once nominations are received, USA Archery will distribute nominee information to current USA Archery judges for vote in their respective regions.
