COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – If your goals include enhancing your archery skills for the upcoming season, to make the United States Archery Team, to be recruited to a collegiate archery team, or to represent your country in international events, then USA Archery is inviting applications for the 2025 Regional Elite Program.
The Regional Elite Program is designed to develop recurve, compound, barebow and Para athletes aged 13-18 to be nationally and internationally competitive. The program includes two self-funded regional camps per year, which are two to four days in length. Camps provide an excellent opportunity to receive expert coaching in a fun and structured environment, train with peers and get feedback on equipment tuning and learn new training skills.
Athletes are encouraged to invite their personal coaches to attend Regional Elite Program camps, so that the personal coach may further develop and learn alongside their athlete. Each program also provides for quarterly virtual education sessions where athletes learn about the High Performance Ethos, anti-doping rules, how to safely and effectively progress within the Athlete Development Model and athlete competencies, develop training plans, and practice setting personal goals to achieve optimal individual performance.
Dawson Jones, who was a member of the East Regional Elite Program in 2024 added, “Regional Elite Program camps were so much fun, and I feel so lucky to have been coached by a great staff. The coaching advice I received totally changed the way I shoot. I also loved hanging out with other archers who share the same passion - it made the whole experience unforgettable!”
To participate in the 2025 Regional Elite Program, there is an entry fee of $300 which includes the $150 program registration fee as well as a $150 deposit for the first camp of the year in 2025 (non-refundable). Athletes also receive a custom program jersey and access to sponsor benefits.
New for 2025: Athletes who meet the Elite MQS will have a navy colored jersey, and athletes who meet the program MQS will have a red jersey. Jersey color will be determined at time of program application/acceptance for the calendar year and will not be modified.
Regarding the revised selection criteria, requirements and program details, please refer to the Regional Elite Program Guide.
To be considered for a program, complete the Regional Elite Application Form by December 31, 2024.
