COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Archery’s mission is to enable United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence in Olympic, Paralympic, World Championships and international competitions and to promote and grow the sport of archery. We are committed to our core values of integrity, leadership, communication, respect and excellence. Our daily direction is driven by Strategic Plans, created collaboratively between USA Archery’s Board of Directors, staff, athletes, coaches, judges, club and state association leaders and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

With the Paris 2024 and LA 2028 Games on the horizon, our vision includes building a robust pool of high performing athletes with clear and supported pathways for archers to achieve their dreams. To set the stage for how we will accomplish our goals, we have implemented a new USA Archery Strategic Plan, High Performance Plan and Para High Performance Plan through 2028.

USA Archery aims to inspire a generation, young and old, to enrich their lives through the art and practice of archery – we want to grow our membership with recreational and competitive archers who feel valued and appreciated. Archery should be a diverse and accessible sport where everyone is included. We want our events to give all attendees a positive experience. Fans should feel involved and able to follow from home as we grow awareness of the sport through mainstream media coverage. We’re working to elevate USA Archery’s reputation as a world leader in sport performance, coach and judge education, governance and sport technology.

Our High Performance Plans outline our goals to achieve peak performance with athletes winning more medals than ever before. Our vision for 2028 includes emphasis on archery as a team sport, building women as winning athletes and coaches and localizing, targeting and customizing archery opportunities to be more fun and exciting.
