LONDON, Ky. – The U.S. Team Trials for the World Archery 3D Championships concluded in London, Ky. on June 2. The Trials consisted of two days of cumulative scoring, shooting two arrows each at 24 targets. The 2022 World Archery 3D Championships will be contested Sept. 4-10 in Terni, Italy.
For the third consecutive edition of this event, USA Archery will field a full team to compete. Our strong team lineup includes reigning barebow bronze medalist Dewayne Martin, who also won team gold in 2017, Kenneth Rienas, the reigning instinctive silver medalist, and 2019 women’s team bronze medalists Heather Gore-Smith and Fawn Girard, who was also the 2019 world field silver medalist. New to the World Archery 3D Championships this year, the traditional bow divisions replace the instinctive categories.
The World Archery 3D Championships is a self-funded event. The team will be led by Level 5-NTS Coach Dee Falks.
