Level 5-NTS Coach Linda Beck, a pioneer in youth archery development and coaching best practices commented: "As a Coach for USA Archery athlete development programs which preceded, Regional Elite Development (RED), I am excited for the 2020 initiative to combine recurve and compound disciplines for camps. Combining disciplines provides an opportunity to meet new friends and learn from each other. Recurve and compound shooting technique are truly more similar than different. The 2020 coaching staffs' across all regions is incredibly deep with knowledgeable, experienced coaches who have either coached archers or they themselves were named to USAT teams or podium finishes at National events. I encourage archers to take advantage of this wealth of coaching knowledge by applying for RED program in your area."
Archers looking to maximize their potential, and the skill sets needed to excel at the next competitive level should review the RED Program Guideto review eligibility criteria.
USA Archery will be accepting RED athlete applications through November 1.
