WROCLAW, Poland – A fantastic week for Team USA at the World Archery Youth Championships saw the junior recurve men bring the medal tally to eight with a bronze finish in today’s matches.
In a 6-0 shut out, Trenton Cowles, Joonsuh Oh and Josef Scarboro cleared the first set 55-50 over Italy and never opened the door for a rebuttal, ending the match in three quick set wins.
Olympian Casey Kaufhold, made her first World Archery Youth Championships individual final, finishing 4th behind Germany’s Charline Schwartz, who also just returned from Tokyo.
