COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – T.R.U. Ball/AXCEL will be the official title sponsor of the recurve division at this year’s USA Archery Indoor Nationals Final, which takes place in Louisville, Ky on March 14.
The top 16 recurve archers from across the country – eight men and eight women – will battle for top honors inside the Kentucky International Convention Center. Casey Kaufhold won the recurve women last year to make it four wins in a row, with victory over Catalina GNoriega. The recurve men’s title went to Jack Williams, after he overcame Brady Ellison.
“We are extremely grateful to T.R.U. Ball/AXCEL for their continued support of USA Archery and our athletes, and for their support of the recurve division at the Indoor Nationals Final,” said USA Archery CEO, Rod Menzer.
“T.R.U. Ball/AXCEL has great products for the hunter and target archer alike and is also a partner that understands the importance of target archery in growing the sport and, like USA Archery, is passionate about that continued growth. It is incredible sponsors like this that make our events possible.”
Stepping in as title sponsors of the recurve at Indoor Nationals Final further adds to T.R.U. Ball/AXCEL’s commitment to the sport. They are already national sponsors of USA Archery and also Regional Elite Program national sponsors. The family-run company also provides additional support to the Regional Elite Program and Red Team.
“Archery provides a lifetime in sport,” added T.R.U. Ball/AXCEL founder and president, Greg Summers. “I just returned home from attending the Lancaster Archery Classic tournament where over 2,800 archers were performing their very best, and one of the winners was 75 years of age!
“It is our responsibility as sponsor, to make archery better with support for archers of all generations. USA Archery has provided many opportunities for archers young and old to participate. We gladly support your efforts to grow the sport of archery.”
