COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Phillip Graves has been officially presented with a World Archery Bronze Plaquette after being nominated by World Archery Americas for his ‘tireless efforts and outstanding results’.
It was at last year’s World Archery Congress in Berlin, Germany that plaquettes were presented to a reduced number of individuals from the five continents. These had been proposed either by the World Archery Executive Board or their respective continental organizations.
Phillip Graves, a USA Archery Level 3 National Judge and Level 4NTS Coach, was unable to collect his plaquette in person but has recently been presented with his award from World Archery Americas Council Member, Nikhil Kanhai.
As part of the commendation, Mr. Kanhai wrote, ‘This Nominee has been very active in the promotion of archery in this region, he has conducted countless missions and seminars in national federations throughout the region and has been a resourceful consultant to our Coaches, Archers and Federation Leaders.’
USA Archery CEO, Rod Menzer, said, “We would like to offer our congratulations to Phil for this momentous award, which reflects his outstanding work in helping to develop archery in the region.”
