Colorado Springs, CO - USA Archery, the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of archery, has announced the hiring of a new full-time staff member: Program Coordinator Jon Taylor. This position will be based at the organization's national office in Colorado Springs, CO.
As the full-time Program Coordinator, Taylor will play an instrumental role in helping USA Archery to better support existing Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Adult Archery Achievement clubs. Taylor will also provide customer service support to the JOAD Xperience and After School Archery Program, as well as JOAD Camps.
Taylor, who has a Master of Science in Sport Administration, previously worked for both USA Triathalon and USA Taekwondo where he assisted with national events coordination, community outreach and marketing.
Callie Grieser, who previously worked as the full-time Program Coordinator, has been re-appointed as Program Manager for USA Archery. In her new capacity, Grieser will play a lead role in managing USA Archery's efforts to promote and grow clubs and programs, as well as overseeing merchandise and sales. Grieser will continue to provide oversight to the JOAD Committee while focusing on improving quality and accessibility in USA Archery Outreach programs.
These changes to USA Archery's Outreach staff will ensure quality customer service given the organization's rapid and sustained growth over the past year, while helping the organization to expand the sport of archery to youth and adult audiences across the United States.
