COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery is pleased to announce that as we move forward and continue to grow our sport, the Explore Archery Program registration and renewal fees have been waived. As a result, starting an Explore Archery program has never been easier!
To ensure participant safety, a USA Archery certified Level 1 instructor or equivalent (NASP or OAS) is required to register an Explore Archery Program. Once registered, the program leader may purchase the Explore Archery Instructor Book, which now includes a complementary set of Explore Archery Achievement Awards. In addition, all registered programs will also to continue to receive a free quarterly newsletter that includes new activities and games. Program leaders will remain eligible to apply for equipment grants through Easton Foundations.
"Explore Archery is a turnkey archery program that can be used by USA Archery Clubs, camp and park and recreation leaders to introduce beginners to the sport of archery," commented USA Archery Outreach Director Mary Emmons. "Although the registration and renewal fee will be waived, the program benefits will remain the same, helping archery instructors to implement archery programs that are fun and safe more easily."
