COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery members who are eligible to vote are encouraged to participate in the organization's upcoming election for its Board of Directors.
Ballots for
the election of two USA Archery Board of Director seats will be mailed out to
eligible voters by Friday, October 11, 2013 to be received during the week of
October 15. Ballots must be received no
later than Tuesday, November 5, 2013 to be counted.
The two seats up for election are that of Coach Director and Grassroots (Non JOAD Club) Director.
Voting
Eligibility:
Coach Director:
An eligible individual shall be a member of USA Archery sixty
(60) days prior to the date of the election (which is as of September 6, 2013),
a United States citizen, possess
a current L2 or above coach certification through USA Archery, and have
selected the "Coach" voting category in the membership system in order to be
eligible to vote in this election. The Age 18 voting eligibility compliance is
confirmed via L2 and above certification criteria.
Grassroots (Non JOAD Club) Director:
The club shall be a USA Archery non JOAD club for sixty (60) days prior to the date of the election (which is as of September 6, 2013) in order to be eligible to vote in this election. USAA non JOAD club voter shall be a representative designated by the club, who is a U.S. citizen at least eighteen (18) years of age.
