2025 PA State JOAD Indoor Championships

9am, 1pm & 4pm

Hosted by Gold-N-Grain and Ontelaunee Archers JOAD Team

General Information:

Ø  Gold-N-Grain Archery located at 75 McCullough Road, Sharpsville, PA 16150, is hosting for the West

Ø  Ontelaunee Archers JOAD Team located at 8100 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli, PA 18248 is hosting for the East

The West location will add a 4:00 pm line time if needed.

Ø  Register online @ the link below; click ENTER.

Ø  Must be a USA Archery member, more info here

Ø  All OUT of STATE archers need to register as a GUEST

Ø  Fee - $40 per person

Ø  Registration closes on March 10, 2025

Ø  Divisions: Barebow, Recurve, Compound & Fixed Pins

Ø  Classes:  18m – U10 (Yeoman), U13 (Bowman), U15 (Cub), U18 (Cadet) & U21 (Junior).

Ø  Offering USA Archery Achievement Awards

Ø  Parking

o   Gold-N-Grain Archery

§  There are a few spots in front of the building & additional parking to the right of the building.

o   Ontelaunee

§  Enter the main driveway of the club. Make 1^st left and follow signs to large parking field.

Ø  Venue is a Non-Smoking Facility

Ø  No pets allowed except service dogs.

Ø  Check in – Inside Lobby. Will open 1 hr. before shooting

Ø  Equipment inspection will be completed before shooting begins

Ø  Concessions will be offered at both locations for both line times

Ø  Paper & Electronic scoring.

Ø  Paper scorecard is official !!!

Ø  Awards will be mailed out after all scores are calculated from Eastern and Western PA.

Ø  Refunds will have a service charge.

Ø  Will follow USAA dress code

 Tournament Format:

Championship Round

Ø  Everyone will be shooting a 60 arrow JOAD Indoor FITA qualifier @ 18m

Ø  Recurve will be shooting on a 60cm, 40 cm or Triangular spot target

Ø  Compound archers will be shooting on a 40 cm Triangular or Circular spot target

Ø  Alternating shooting line

Ø  Will have 2 ends of practice

Ø  Up to 4 people per target bale

Ø  Will have 2 minutes to shoot 3 arrows

Ø  Will have 10 sec. to go from waiting line to shooting line.

Ø  Will follow World Archery rules

Achievement/Merit Award Round

Awards will be presented to the top three archers in each achievement pin classification....green, gray, purple etc. Total scores for the championship will be used to determine the Merit Award recipients. Male and Female participants will compete together within their classification

Out-of-state archers will be eligible to compete for achievement awards on the same basis as in-state archers.
