USA Archery Virginia Outdoor 2025 Summer Series #1

Our Summer Series continues for the 2025 season.

This USA Archery sanctioned tournament is open to all USA Archery members.

All participants will shoot their designated distance and target face as determined by their age category and bow type. All information can be found in the attached Event Guidebook. New shooters can benefit from reading the guidebook so they are better prepared for the tournament. All USA Archery Rules are in effect as well as the dress code. There will not be any exceptions to the rules so please be familiar with all applicable rules. This handbook has all the information you will need to know.

2023 Event Reference Guidebook - November Update

We will begin shooting at approximately 9am after equipment inspections are complete. Archers and spectators are encouraged to bring their own canopy tents and chairs to set up in the spectator area. We plan to have food available and will update this listing as details are confirmed with vendors.

Two ends of practice arrows will be allowed before the scoring begins. We will be shooting 12 - 6 arrow ends for a total of 72 arrows for score.

Awards ceremony will be held right after all scoring has been verified.

Registration fee is $60 per tournament. Any requests for refund must be received before the cut off date. Refunds will be minus a 3.5% transaction fee that is not refundable. If you are unable to attend a shoot and want your fee to go towards another of our tournaments, please email us for this request.

This is #1 in our series of 4 summer tournaments. We will have an overall award on our last shoot on July 19. Archers who attend at least 3 of our summer shoots will have scores entered for the Overall Summer Champion and Top Shooters will receive our custom gold belt buckle. Shooters must attend at least three tournaments and top awards will be accumulative scores from each tournament, If you attend all 4 tournaments your lowest score will be dropped and not included in the final ranking. Buckles will be awarded to each age and bow type division of eligible participants.

Individual awards will also be awarded at each separate event at the conclusion of each event.
