2025 USA Archery Virginia State JOAD Indoor Championship

Welcome to the 2025 Virginia State JOAD Indoor Championship!

FFX Archery will host this event at the Bull Run Shooting Center in Centreville VA.

Use “Bull Run Shooting Center” in your navigation system. Follow signs to the Shooting Center as you approach Bull Run Regional Park.

This is a 60-arrow round (20 shooting ends of three arrows each end) with two practice ends at the beginning of each session. 

Archers* will shoot a 40cm target (you may select either 10-ring or triangle 3-spot) at 18 meters. Compound inner 10-ring will be in effect. Recurve outer 10-ring will be in effect.

* Recurve and Barebow archers in the U13 and U15 age divisions will shoot a 60cm 10-ring target at 18 meters.

There are THREE shooting times:

- Saturday, 3/8/2025 at 9:00 AM

- Saturday, 3/8/2025 at 1:00 PM

- Saturday, 3/8/2025 at 5:00 PM

Each shooting time will have a maximum of 28 competitors.

Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes early to set up equipment and complete check-in and equipment inspection before your shooting time.

We will offer separate Guest divisions for archers who are not Virginia residents. Archers who live in the District of Columbia and are members of a Virginia archery club (included in your Sport80 member profile) will be considered Virginia residents for tournament purposes.

We will hold an awards ceremony shortly after the Saturday 5:00pm session ends. If you are not present to receive your medal, please make arrangements to pick up your medal from the tournament host.

Archery Divisions: Recurve, Barebow, Fixed Pins, and Compound

Archery Classes: 

- U13 through the calendar year of your 12th birthday

- U15 through the calendar year of your 14th birthday

- U18 through the calendar year of your 17th birthday

- U21 through the calendar year of your 20th birthday

 

Early Bird Registration Fee: $50 through February 26, 2025

Late Registration Fee: $75 from 2/27/2025 to 3/3/2025

If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a full refund minus transaction fees if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than 2/26/2025.

All competitors must be USA Archery members, and must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.

The Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) will be in effect.
