2025 USA Archery Ohio State and JOAD Indoor Championships

This is the *2025* Ohio State Indoor Championships.

***SPECIAL NOTE****CAPS AND BOLD FOR EMPHASIS***

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE AGE GROUP YOU (OR JOAD ARCHER) WILL BE IN 2025, 

NOT 2024, AS OF THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT FROM DECEMBER 31, 2024 TO JANUARY 1, 2025 IS WHEN WE ALL TURN A YEAR OLDER FOR USA ARCHERY/WORLD ARCHERY REGISTRATION PURPOSES.  

ie: If your child turns 14 on July 4, 2025, the age change for tournament registration is JANUARY 1, 2025.   If you need assistance you can email me at [email protected].  

You must be a resident of the state of Ohio to compete for the title of Ohio state champion.  

There will be a VISITORS classification for those who live outside the State of Ohio.  

The tournament is two concurrent tournaments.  

The JOAD one day event will be for those athletes who only want to shoot the JOAD event, and the fee for the 1-day JOAD tournament is $40.  

For those who wish to compete in the 2-day State Indoor championships the fee will be $80.

For the JOAD kids who wish to shoot BOTH days you will be eligible for both medals for a $90 fee.  

Those who shoot a 60cm target will be eligible for records for the JOAD round only.  If they wish to shoot the two day event, the score from the 60cm target, will count towards the state championship 2-day event as well.

LINE 1 PRACTICE WILL BEGIN AT 10:00 AM

LINE 2 PRACTICE WILL BEGIN AT 2:00 PM

SUNDAY 2/15/24

LINE 1 PRACTICE WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 AM

LINE 2 PRACTICE WILL BEING AT 1:00 PM

Distance is 18 meters.  

Age Classifications *** as of January 1, 2025***:

U10 (YEOMAN) through calendar year of 10th birthday

U13 through the calendar year of their 12th birthday

U15 through the calendar year of their 14th birthday

U18 through the calendar year of their 17th birthday

U21 through the calendar year of their 20th birthday

An archer may shoot up to a higher age class for one event and return to their legal age class for another event.

Senior at any age

50+ competition taking place in the year of their 50th birthday

60+ competition taking place in the year of their 60th birthday

70+ competition taking place in the year of their 70th birthday

An archer may choose to shoot in a lower age group in the senior/master division.  (ie a 50+, 60+, or 70+ archer can shoot as a senior)

Last day for cancellation with refund is 12/10/24!
