2025 North Carolina State JOAD Indoor Championships

The Asheville Archery Training Center will be hosting this event at the DeVries Athletic Center at Warren Wilson College. 

The JOAD State tournament starts at:11:30am.  If enough archers register and we have a waiting list for this event, we will open up a 3:30pm shooting line to accommodate more archers.  

It is important to know that the State Championships are being held at 7:30am. If a youth archer wishes to shoot both the state and JOAD tournaments they should sign up for the State tournament line at 7:30 and JOAD tournament at 11:30.  State event registration here: https://usarchery.sport80.com/public/wizard/e/45873

The three warmup ends for the JOAD line will start at 11:30am followed immediately by the first round of scoring. 

Archers will have a choice between single 40cm targets and triangle 3-spot 40cm targets.  Yeoman, U13, and U15 Barebow and Recurve will shoot the 60cm target.

Registration and equipment checks will begin at 10:30am. 

The tournament will consist of 1 round of 60 arrows, 20 ends of 3 arrows. 

There will be chairs behind the shooting line available for the competing archers. All bags/cases will be stored in the hallway surrounding the gymnasium. No bags will be allowed in the competition area due to space limitations. 

There is bleacher seating for spectators.  There is NO room for folding chairs or additional seating in the competition space. 

There will be an optional warm up and practice session at the venue from 5-7pm on Friday evening (Jan 31) for an additional $10 cash fee. Registration and equipment checks will be offered on Friday evening as well.

Guests from other states are allowed to register. Guest division medals will be awarded.
