2024 SAAM STAR Fita Festivus

Welcome to the second annual SAAM STAR Fita Festivus! Join us to exhibit your feats of archery strength while airing grievances on the 10 ring!

Riverside gun club is returning its archery range to the tournament circuit and funds from this event will provide an opportunity for further range maintenance and equipment for the Riverside Archers program. The adjacent indoor pistol range will be closed during competition....Serenity Now! T shirts are once again available to pre-order for the benefit of The Human Fund (SAAM Scholarships). Gather around the Festivus pole in clubhouse bar for Festivus refreshments. Cash only full bar including non-alcoholic options, pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and fries.

This is the final SAAM ranking tournament of 2024 and the last chance to improve your standing for the year.

The tournament is a World Archery Star Indoor Round. The lines (times to shoot) are:

• Friday, 12/6/2024 at 7:00 pm
  
• Saturday, 12/7/2024 at 9:00 am
• Saturday, 12/7/2024 at 1:00 pm
• Saturday, 12/7/2024 at 5:00 pm
  
• Sunday,12/8/2024 at 9:00 am
• Sunday, 12/8/2024 at 1:00 pm.

You will need to shoot at one line (shooting date and time). There will be a maximum of 20 archers per line.

The Divisions are:

• Recurve
• Compound
• Barebow

The Classes are:

• U13 (Previously Bowman) through the calendar year of the 12th birthday
• U15 (Previously Cub) through the calendar year of the 14th birthday
• U18 (Previously Cadet) through the calendar year of the 17th birthday
• U21 (Previously Junior) through the calendar year of the 20th birthday
• Senior (any age)
• 50+ (Previously Masters 50) 50 years of age through 59 years of age
• 60+ (Previously Masters 60) 60 years of age through 69 years of age
• 70+ (Previously Masters 70) 70 years of age and older
• Barebow 50-70+

The registration fee is $42 until 11/29. Increases to $50 on 11/30. Registration closes on 12/3/2024.

Refunds for a cancellation, minus fees, will be granted until two weeks prior to the first line of the event (Saturday 9am)

The World Archery Indoor Round consists of a 600 round (20 ends of 3 arrows) within a two-minute time period per end. All competitors will shoot at a 40 cm multicolored face or a triangular 3­ spot at 18 meters. Inner-10 ring will be in effect for Compound Division. The outer 10-ring will be in effect for all classes in Recurve and Barebow. There will be three ends of practice before each line.

Awards will be presented on Sunday, 12/8/2024, after the 1:00 pm line. If you are not present for the awards, it may be picked up at the bar at a later date; awards will not be mailed.

World Archery Rules will be strictly observed for competitors in the Recurve, Compound and Barebow divisions. All competitors must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.
