2024 USA Archery Louisiana State Indoor Championship

Welcome to the 2024 USA Archery Louisiana State Indoor Championships! 

(Please note that the 2024 Louisiana State Junior Olympic Championship is a separate event. Registration for the JOAD event can be found here.) 

Gotham Archery Baton Rouge will host this event at their facility in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a 60-arrow round (20 shooting ends of three arrows each end) with two practice ends at the beginning of each session. 

There are two shooting times

• Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 9:00 AM
• Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM 

NOTE: ONLY if these two shooting sessions fill up, we intend to add an additional session on Saturday at 5:30PM. Each shooting time will have a maximum of 36 competitors. We will hold an awards ceremony on Sunday 5:00pm. If you are not present to receive your medal, please make arrangements to pick up your medal from the tournament host. 

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to set up equipment and complete check-in and equipment inspection before your shooting time. 

FEES 

• Early Bird Registration Fee: $45 through January 2, 2024 
• Late Registration Fee: $75 from January 3, 2024 until January 20, 2024 

If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a full refund minus transaction fees if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than January 14, 2023. 

ELIGIBILITY 

All competitors must hold the appropriate USA Archery membership. Membership Info here.

While non-residents are welcome to participate, only Louisiana State residents will qualify for medals/State titles. This event is NOT a World Archery STAR event, however will follow World Archery rules for equipment, shooting process, and scoring. Equipment must meet World Archery rules, with arrows having a diameter of 9.3mm or less. USA Archery Dress code will be enforced. Two minutes per three arrows will be in effect for each end. 

The Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) will be in effect.
