2023 Virginia State Indoor Championship

Welcome to the 2023 Virginia State Indoor Championship at the Freedom Aquatics and Fitness Center in Manassas VA!

This is a 120-arrow double round (two days, 20 shooting ends of three arrows each end, each day) with two practice ends at the beginning of each session. 

All archers will shoot a 40cm target (you may select either 10-ring or vertical 3-spot) at 18 meters.

- Compound inner 10-ring will be in effect.

- Recurve outer 10-ring will be in effect. 

There are two shooting times: 

- Saturday, 1/14 at 9:00 AM and Sunday 1/15 at 9:00 AM

- Saturday, 1/14 at 1:00 PM and Sunday, 1/15 at 1:00 PM

Each shooting time will have a maximum of 78 competitors.

Please plan to arrive early to set up equipment and complete check-in and equipment inspection before your shooting time.

Equipment inspections will begin 45 minutes before your shooting time.

We will hold an awards ceremony shortly after the Sunday 1:00pm session ends. If you win a medal and cannot be present to receive it, please make plans to pick it up or have another archer receive on your behalf.

Archery Divisions: Recurve, Barebow, and Compound

Archery Classes: 

- U13 (formerly Bowman) through the calendar year of your 12th birthday

- U15 (formerly Cub) through the calendar year of your 14th birthday

- U18 (formerly Cadet) through the calendar year of your 17th birthday

- U21 (formerly Junior) through the calendar year of your 20th birthday

- Senior (any age may compete in the Senior class if desired)

- 50+ (formerly Master 50) - 50 years of age through 59 years of age

- 60+ (formerly Master 60) - 60 years of age through 69 years of age

- 70+ (formerly Master 70) - 70 years of age or older

Early Bird Registration Fee: $75 (on or before January 1, 2023)

Late Registration Fee: $100 (January 2 - 11, 2023)

If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a full refund minus administration fees if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than Friday, January 11, 2023.

All competitors must be USA Archery members, and must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.
